Ah, well. Not all Roadfood-endorsed restaurants can be winners. Pluses: they had me in and out in 25 minutes, the purple hull peas were delicious, and their pie was extra super tall. Minuses: the pan-fried potatoes were greasy and underseasoned, the meatloaf sat in a pool of oil, and the pie did that thing where the meringue is all wet, making it separate from the custard/curd and getting the crust all soggy.
