Typical South American hostel brekkie

I haven't been updating this blog at all, because we rarely have Internet when we're out and about. I miss it!

Here's our breakfast today. Coca tea (we're at 8,000 feet in Aguascalientes, I think), roll with butter and jam, banana, OJ. We have a train this morning to ollantaytambo, where we'll pick up a colectivo to Cuzco, where we'll try to buy tickets for a night bus to La Paz. Travel day!

Practice Pack #1 Complete Tada! About twenty pounds. The computer isn't in it, though the case is. And I still have a bit of extra space. Phew.

Turkish Coffee... IN TURKEY! I love Turkish coffee, and not just for its rich flavor and thick texture. Here's a (mostly) traditional service: the coffee, a small amaretto, a palate-cleansing glass of water, and two pieces of Turkish Delight in a dainty silver dish. Catch up, Starbucks...
