Albany Jane

Hooray, hooray! I've done the 1,000+ mile drives. They aren't the funnest, but oddly enough they go by quickly since everything you see is new.

And Red Bull is your best friend. Hah!

I hope your fuzzy friends travel well!

Safe trip, Rachel!!

Good luck Rachel (sadly, no food recs from my end) - and drive safe!

Save travels Rachel! We'll miss you until you get back. Best to Logan.

I'm from Ann Arbor! Wish I could find work there and get the heck out of LA! I'm sure you know about Zingerman's and if you don't...run, do not walk! It's my little food heaven.

Boots in the Oven

Thanks for the well-wishing! I made it to Jackson, TN, which is a bit more than halfway. The cats are completely freaked out and sniffing every inch of this hotel room. I can't wait to get them back in the car for another 650 miles tomorrow...

Boots in the Oven

Hey, Mandy- crosspost! I cannot wait to go to Zingerman's. We tried to go last week when I was in Ann Arbor visiting, but the line was two hours long so we gave up. I'm glad to have more time to throw at it, though!
