Chicago - one look at that hot dog gave it away! Nice redesign, Rachel. The buttons look super cool!

The re-design looks great and so do those strawberry shortcakes!

Lookin' good Mr. Carter :D

CHI-TOWN!! :D Hot Doug's for the dogs and duck fat fries! Crepe and Coffee Palace, 2433 N Clark! My Pie (Greek symbol for pi) or Gino's East for pizza (Giordano's is way overrated)!! Andalous Moroccan Restaurant on N Clark! The Duke of Perth for all-you-can-eat fish and chips on Wed nights (and fabulous Scottish brews)! The Parthenon in Greektown!

All these were what I could afford on a student budget :D Well, we went to Shaw's Crab House in Near North to celebrate something, and Sal & Carvao for Brazilian churrascaria once as well too... !

Rachel - will reply your e-mail soon!

I'm guessing Chicago from that hot dog picture. If I am right, is it true that most Chicagoans feel that the perfect hot dog is a bun, a weiner and mustard? Or am I getting that confused with New York?

I'm not going to guess, because that wouldn't be fair. But I will say that I love the new clean look... so easy to see everything! :)

Glad you found the "giant list" of icons useful guys and grats on the new look. Don't let it stop there though, keep playing with it and growing the site and the style together!

About the food, being Irish I usually associate the hotdog with New York, but that one isn't the typical New Yorker Hotdog so I guess it must be Chicago as the others have said! I'm sure if you stare at it long enough you can see Al Capone's face in one of the Gerkins. :)

Loving the redesign! Seriously - simple yet fantastic.

Thanks so much, Jodi! And got it in one. :-)

Thank you, Carla! Now that the cat is out of the bag about where we were, I can tell you the shortcakes came from Toni's Sweets. They were SO good... http://tonisweets.com/

Where we at? :-)

Ling! Hi! I am definitely saving your list for the next time we head to Chicago. I've gotta gotta gotta get to Hot Doug's - been hearing about that place for years.

And I LOVED Gino's East when I was in high school! The Parthenon was our family's go-to Greek restaurant when I was a kid... the waiters would always try to adress my dad in Greek. My parents threw our engagement party there. :-)

Look forward to hearing from you!

You are so right, Margo! And I think that's a stereotype about New Yorkers, but I'm not certain. I like my dogs like that on occasion, too. Thanks for the comment!

Boots in the Oven

Thanks, Crystal! Now if I could just figure out why the page sometimes doesn't render properly...

Boots in the Oven

Justin, thank you so much for curating that tremendous resource for buttons! There's some great stuff on there.

And you're right, it's the typical Chicago hot dog - celery salt and all! And Michael Jordan's around there somewhere, I'm sure...

Boots in the Oven

Thank you, Su-Lin! It was about time!

Boots in the Oven

I'm excited about it too! I've tested it a bit, and it seems to work so far...
